USA Wrestling Coach & Palomar Wrestling Coach San Diego

As a wrestler, Coach Tim Box is one of the few Americans to earn All-American status in four different styles, amassing one world medal and nine national medals.

Coach Box is the United States Men’s and Women’s Senior World Team Coach for Beach Wrestling. He was selected by USA Wrestling in June of 2023.

The United States, despite not having a beach wrestling medalist since 2019, has earned team and individual UWW World Championship honors in multiple age groups, including a U17 Team World Championship, Senior Team runner-up finish, numerous medalists, and a 2x Senior World Champion.

Coach Box has either wrestled in or coached every UWW Beach Wrestling World Series finals match for Team USA.

Coach Box is also the head wrestling coach at Palomar College Wrestling in San Diego, where he has coached numerous All-Americans, State Champions, and State medalists. He was selected as the National Wrestling Coaches Association Head Coach of the Year in 2024.
